Langford 120 launched their Associate Artists’program with a group exhibition, Fourteen: Trajectories (February 15 to March 15, 2014). The Directors asked for work that was, in certain ways, tangential to our main practice, but which we felt still fed our central concerns. These works, ‘accidents in the kitchen’, illustrate a connection between drawing and the real world. A cloth tossed at random on a chair repeated the structure of the chair which in turn amplified the geometry of the fabric; a response to form, as in a drawing.
